General Description
Grape harvest: Between the last week of August and the first week of September. The harvest is hand made on vineyards situated on sandy and clayey soil.
Aging: one year to define at best the flavours and characteristics in steel barrels, with a successive aging in bottles for at least 6 months.
Organoleptic Characteristics: dark ruby red wine. Clean fragrances with scents of red fruits, redcurrant, cherry, plum and cocoa. Delicate spicy notes are present, like cinnamon and white pepper. It takes a full roundness on the palate with an enviable structure. Alcohol content from 13,0% to 13,5% vol. depending on the year.
Suggested food combinations: Excellent with cold meats and salami, first course pasta dishes, roast or grilled meats, cheeses.
