General Description
Grape harvest: Second week of September. The Vineyards are situated at 450 meters, with sandy and clayey soil. The harvest is hand made.
Aging: after defining at best the flavours in steel barrels, the wine is passed in barriques and then aged at least six months in bottles.
Organoleptic Characteristics: the dark ruby colour reveals a classic bouquet of red fruits and a note of vanilla and spices. On the palate it takes a centre stage and the tannin is soft and velvety. Alcohol content from 13,5% to 14% vol. depending on the year.
Suggested food combinations: Excellent with rich first course pasta dishes, roast or grilled meats and cheeses.
